The cheapest way to eat at Hungry Jack's is not the app, and it is not a voucher. It is the permanent low price menu that sits on the board every day and needs nothing at all.
Penny Pinchers and Super Stunners are fixed menu prices rather than rotating promotions, which means they never expire and they are the numbers every deal has to beat before it is worth using. Finding the cheapest Hungry Jack's meals starts with knowing those numbers: a complete meal from $7.95, a side and a drink for four dollars, and the cheapest hot item on the menu at $3.20. The full deals page lists everything currently reduced.
Below is the order of operations for a genuinely cheap order, in the order that actually saves the most.
| Item | Price | Energy | Protein |
|---|---|---|---|
| Whopper | $12.35 | 2,437 kJ | 28.1 g |
| Whopper Cheese | $13.30 | 2,747 kJ | 32.7 g |
| Bacon Deluxe | $13.45 | 2,142 kJ | 29.7 g |
| Classic Jack's Fried Chicken | $14.40 | 2,843 kJ | 36.1 g |
| Spicy Jack's Fried Chicken | $14.40 | 3,025 kJ | 36.1 g |
| Cheesy Bacon Classic Jack's Fried Chicken | $16.35 | 3,126 kJ | 41.7 g |
| Cheesy Bacon Spicy Jack's Fried Chicken | $16.35 | 3,307 kJ | 41.6 g |
| Double Whopper | $16.45 | 3,543 kJ | 47.4 g |

The Cheeseburger Super Stunner at $7.95 is a burger, chips and a drink at a permanent fixed price. It is the cheapest complete meal on the Hungry Jack's menu and the benchmark for everything else.
Bought separately, a Cheeseburger at $5.90, Thick Cut Chips at $3.45 and a Coke at $4.80 come to comfortably more. That gap is the whole point of the format.
Stepping up is efficient too. The Double Cheeseburger Super Stunner at $9.95 adds a second patty for two dollars, and the Triple Cheeseburger Super Stunner at $11.95 carries 37g of protein in the burger alone, which beats most premium burgers costing more on their own.
Five items sit in the permanent Penny Pinchers range and three of them are the backbone of any cheap order. Small Thick Cut Chips at $2.00, Large Frozen Drinks at $2.00, and the BBQ Cheeseburger at $5.95.
A side and a drink for four dollars is the number worth remembering. Nothing else on the Hungry Jack's menu comes near it, and neither price expires.
The oddest calculation on the whole menu also lives here. Three nuggets on their own are $7.20. The 3 Nuggets & Chips Carry Cup bundles the same three nuggets with chips for $3.95, which is less. Buying the cup instead of the nuggets alone is cheaper and gets you more food.
The single cheapest hot item is the Hamburger at $3.20, which is a flame grilled beef patty with pickle, mustard and tomato sauce. At 1,192 kJ it is genuinely a snack rather than a meal, but two of them still land under most single premium burgers.
On the cold side, every frozen drink is $2.00, which is less than half a regular Coke at $4.80 and less than half a bottle of water at $4.95. The Soft Serve Cone at $2.20 is the cheapest dessert.
The snack wraps at $3.75 each are the cheapest way to get the Signature Spicy Sauce, which otherwise appears on burgers costing three times as much.
Hold every voucher up against two numbers before using it: $7.95 for a full meal and $2.00 for a side. A percentage off a premium burger frequently lands above the Super Stunner once chips and a drink go on.
The rule that governs all of them is short. Hungry Jack's position is one voucher per transaction, no combining with other discounts, and a minimum spend may apply. Splitting a family order into separate transactions to use two vouchers is the ordinary way around the limit and it works.
The one genuine stack is the Jack's Cafe loyalty coffee, which redeems alongside a voucher. Buy full price barista coffees, earn a free one, and it stays valid twelve months. The full voucher rules are here, and the meal planner will cost a whole week against a budget.
