Privacy Policy
This site has no accounts, sells nothing and asks for nothing about you. The short version is below; the detail is underneath it. Effective 2 August 2026.
What This Site Collects

Our host and our ad partners also keep standard server logs, which include IP addresses, for security and abuse prevention. That is ordinary web hosting rather than something this site does with your data.
What This Site Does Not Collect
- Accounts, passwords or logins — there are none on this site
- Payment details — nothing is sold here
- Your name or email unless you type it into a form yourself
- Your precise location — the store locator never asks for it
- Anything from the tools: your meal plan and calculator selections never leave your device
Ratings and Comments
Ratings and comments are stored in Supabase, a hosted database service. There is no account system — a rating stores the item and the star count and nothing else, and a comment stores the text plus the display name you typed, if you typed one.
Anything you post in a comment is public the moment it appears, so do not put personal details in one. Comments are attributed to whatever name you enter, or to "Guest" if you leave it blank, and we do not verify either.
Removing a comment. Email [email protected] with enough to identify it — the page and roughly what it said — and we will delete it. We also remove comments that are abusive, spam, or contain someone else's personal information, without waiting to be asked.
We do not sell, rent or share this data with anyone, and it is not used to build a profile of you.
Cookies, Advertising and Bot Checks
Advertising. This site carries third-party advertising. Ad networks, including Google, may set cookies to measure ad performance and to personalise what you are shown, sometimes based on your previous visits to this and other sites.
You can turn personalisation off at Google Ads Settings, opt out across many networks at optout.aboutads.info and Your Online Choices, or block cookies in your browser settings. None of that stops the site working.
Cloudflare Turnstile runs on the comment form and the contact form. It looks at browser signals to distinguish a person from a script. It is a privacy-focused alternative to a CAPTCHA — it does not track you across sites and it never asks you to identify traffic lights. On this site it is deliberately decorative: it never blocks a comment or a message from sending, even if it fails to load.
Maps. The restaurant map loads its tiles from OpenStreetMap and CARTO when you scroll to it. Loading an image from those services tells them your IP address, the same as any image on the web. The map never asks for your location.
What Stays on Your Own Device
Three things are stored in your browser's localStorage and never sent anywhere. Clearing your browser data removes all of them.

Your kilojoule calculator selections are not stored at all — they exist only while the page is open.
Your Rights and How to Use Them
Because there are no accounts, most of what you would normally ask for does not exist to ask about. What you can do: have a comment or a rating removed, ask what we hold that is connected to you, and ask us to correct anything wrong.
All three go to the same place — [email protected] or the contact form. We answer within two business days.
Children. This site is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13. If you believe a child has posted something here, tell us and we will remove it.
Changes. If this policy changes materially, the effective date at the top changes with it. It is a fixed date rather than a rolling one, so you can tell at a glance whether anything has actually moved since you last read it.
Independent site. Not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to Hungry Jack's Pty Ltd. This policy covers this website only — Hungry Jack's own site and app have their own privacy policies, and anything you do there is governed by those.
