Enjoy Biscoff topping and crumbled caramelised biscuit, paired with a creamy vanilla shake.
The Biscoff Shake at Hungry Jack's is $6.40 and 2,502 kJ, which makes it one of the two heaviest drinks on the menu alongside the Shake inspired by Skittles.
Biscoff is a Belgian speculoos biscuit, spiced with cinnamon and caramelised sugar, and it has become one of the more successful dessert flavours of the last decade. Blended into a shake it brings a spiced caramel note that no syrup replicates, because the flavour comes from actual baked biscuit rather than from flavouring.
The numbers reflect that. At 83.1g of carbs and 61.1g of sugar for 2,502 kJ it carries considerably more than the standard shakes, since biscuit adds carbohydrate that syrup does not. It is roughly twice a Vanilla Shake at 1,064 kJ.
The texture is also different. Blended biscuit leaves fine particles through the shake, so it drinks thicker and slightly grainy in a way that is entirely the point. A smooth Biscoff shake would be a failed one.
At $6.40 it costs more than the standard shakes at $5.80, which is fair given what goes into it.
Who it suits: anyone treating it as dessert rather than as a drink. At 2,502 kJ it is closer to a sundae than to a milkshake in what it contributes to a meal.
Compare against the Biscoff Storm on the desserts menu for the spoon version of the same idea.
One Biscoff Shake is 29% of the 8,700 kJ average adult daily intake. Figures are per serve as published by Hungry Jack's.

Biscoff spread and Biscoff biscuits, both. The spread gives the flavour and the biscuits give the texture, and using only one gives you half a shake. Makes 2 servings.
Serve immediately with a spoon as well as a straw. This is a dessert that happens to be in a glass.
